I began working in the building trades, for my grandfather in 1977. I
joined the United States Navy in 1982, and was was trained as a pipe fitter.
After my discharge, I went back into construction. I worked
as a journeyman plumber in Ypsilanti. I went into business in 1987
as w. W. Contracting in Ann Arbor, MI. We offered carpentry and
plumbing service. I achieved my residential builder license in
1989. In 1992 I moved the business to Saginaw, and changed the
company name to Peace Of Mind Building And Remodeling. I completed a carpenter's
apprenticeship recognized by the United States Department of
Labor. I hold a carpenter journeyman's
card. While attending Delta
college in the residential builders program, I maintained a 4.0
GPA, and made the Presidents list each term. For tax and
liability reasons, In March of 2009 we reorganized as Peace Of
Mind Building And remodeling LLC.
